Meet the Women of "Domestic Damages"

I've heard the stories. I've wept with the women. The statistics of women abused in the U.S. are staggering. The women that are killed as a result of domestic violence is beyond scary. It's an epidemic. I wrote this play because I knew it was a story that needed to be told and the interviews showed me I was right. Not enough people are hearing the cries of the women being held in abusive relationships. Some may escape on their own and there are others who may need help. Be aware...ask a beacon of light.

I held auditions for Domestic Damages in December of 2015. These are the women who answered the call. These are the ones who will bring to life seven stories of domestic abuse: Cheryl Booker, Saidah Wade, Marrisa Collier, Tatyana Arrington, Gwen Harris, Princess Starr, and Monique Andress. These women are gifted, discerning and empathetic to the plight of the women they are portraying. Don't miss Domestic Damages.
