Princess Starr

Princess Starr is the Assistant Director for the Young Voices United Performing Arts School, where she partners with her husband in the education of theatre arts, music and dance. She matriculated from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia where she majored in music with a concentration in voice. Princess also serves as the Administrative Supervisor for the New African Grove Theatre Company. She has appeared in such productions as August Wilson’s Seven Guitars, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, Medley of a Playwright, ‘night, Mother, The Amen Corner, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Christmas Story According to Us Folk and The Corner.
